I conceived and produced the award-winning volume: Priya Ramrakha The Forgotten Archive with Shravan Vidyarthi

Coordinating an international team, we selected from Ramrakha’s extensive archive, a multi-year project that included digitizating, complex post-production, research, writing, editing, and intensive book design in Nairobi, New York, Johannesburg and Heidelberg. I managed all legal negotiations, handled production logistics with the publishers and distribution team, and ran a complex fundraising initiative to bring this volume to print. My co-author and I created the concept for the book, solicited manuscripts from powerhouse academics and best-selling authors, including Paul Theroux, ran original research on images and the archive, and edited image and text for delivery.

Priya Ramrakha was a Kenyan photojournalist and one of the most prolific photographers of Africa's independence movements in the 1950s and 1960s
